Demand Planning Manager - eCommerce (3-6 yrs)
Looking for MBA (Premier B Schools) Batch 2018 and 2019 with strong analytical ability and knowledge in R/ Python/ SQL/ PoweBI with an experience in Demand Planning/ Category Planning/ Demand Forecasting
Job Description:
As demand planning spoc this person will be responsible for understanding the market landscape, key demand drivers and seasonality to project the demand plan for categories housed under Electronics, mobiles and large/Fashion and General merchandise, Wholesale in B2B business
- Work closely with category management team to understand how list for growth and translate this to demand plan, yet quantitatively and qualitatively validating the growth targets basis ongoing trends and history
- Assess market trends, seasonality and e-tailing ecosystem to have an independent point of view on category demand
- Build category demand plan (1 month, 3 month and AOP), working with Category SPOC, Marketing, Merchandizing, BizFin, TRE and other partners
- Analyze trends and track demand planning metrics with RCAs for deviations against plan
- Prepare and present insights and in-depth analysis to category and other stakeholders
Skills Required:
- Excellent analytical ability, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong in Business Statistics
- Fair understanding of Demand Planning metrics
- Ability to work seamlessly with the multiple teams/stakeholders
- Should be structured, meticulous and organized
- True love for data
- All-hands on deck and get things done attitude
Technical Skills: Excellent at MS Excel and SQL Good with R Good PowerBI
