Purpose
- Manage the Demand Planning process to derive high levels of predictability of demand for both short and medium term (volume) to facilitate service levels and material planning
- Manage the monthly S& OP process which integrates all short to medium term operating plans (0 to 6 months)
- Collaborate with all Brand / Marketing and Commercial, Business Heads to gain consensus in the demand planning process to protect annual volume and course correct using 'what if scenario'
- Work with business planning to create right plans for technology enabled Demand Planning tools using trend analysis
Responsibilities
- Conduct the Monthly Business Planning and Review cycles for the organization and facilitate flawless execution
- Implement best in class tools to aid forecasting, both regular and causal
- Track on going sales to understand the variances and apply levers to course correct demand to meet organization objectives
- Interpret deep diagnostics to drive RCA
- Conduct Ageing & expiry reviews to minimize stale and write offs
- Conduct Causal forecasting through effective analytics and run effectiveness of Marketing initiatives
- Drive Convergence in final demand in case of conflict due to supply constraints or any other factor
- Conduct weekly analysis of demand plans and provide support to Field to do short term course corrections to meet plan objectives and drive FA
- Weekly publication of scorecard including reasons for misses and description for actions to be released to Field
Education
- MBA/ PGDM required
- Candidates from FMCG Industry are preferred
