Demand Planner - Travel Equipment/Retail & Accessories

We have very urgent position in one of BEST TRAVEL EQUIPMENTS, RETAIL & ACCESSORIES organization across the following location :

BASE LOCATION - Bangalore

OFFERED CTC - negotiable P.A. fixed + incentives ; depending upon current CTC.

POSITION - Demand Planner

SPAN OF CONTROL - pan India ; Corporate profile

INDICATIVE JOB PROFILE :

- Generate statistical forecast for rolling 6 months using historical sales/In coordination with sales & product using field forecast/ incorporate market intelligence to plan RM

- Analyse sales trends and forecast error to identify areas of opportunity for Finished Goods inventory optimization

- Set finished goods inventory norms across stocking locations sufficing appropriate service levels and inventory targets

- Work with sales/ central product team/ SCM/distribution team to ensure maximum business fill rate

- Drive joint improvements projects with different channels of sales (Modern Trade/ Trade/ CPC/ Retail/ Online) in the area of Improving Business Fill rate with Inventory Targets in consideration

- Coordinate deployment of stocks from plants to distribution centers, Distribution centres to Exclusion Business Outlets as per IQ

- Ensure stock availability at Warehouse in co-ordination with supply planning and distribution

- Generate stock keeping unit wise confirmed indents for next one month.

REQUIREMENTS :

Skills and Experience Required :

- Excellent excel and analytical Skills

- 2-6 years of experience in - Demand Planning

- Preferably from Manufacturing / Retail / Durable / FMCG / equivalent background

- MBA from reputed colleges
