Securitization- Associate Solution Advisor/Solution Advisor

The Securitization team is a part of the Deloitte Advisory group. As a professional in this team, with a combination of strong technical skills and industry and marketplace knowledge, you will provide services in multiple collateral types performing due diligence on US Commercial real estate transactions, Agency cash flow modeling, Collateral stratification and engagements with sourcing financial instrument vendor prices.

You will work with professionals with varied backgrounds and diverse experience both within the firm and from prior organizations in financial instrument valuation and real estate valuation. Professionals in this team either have pursued or are pursuing professional certifications such as PMP, CFA, and FRM within the team.

Work you will do

- Work closely with US engagement teams with services in support of abstraction of critical financial, collateral, and underwritten information from various legal documents pertaining to commercial real estate transactions for CMBS, ABS, RMBS, auto loans, etc.

- Work on Agency Cash flow modeling using firm developed tools/applications

- Work on Collateral stratification tables using CAS application

- Work on assigned project responsibilities and meet project requirements

Qualifications and experience

Required:

- MBA finance background and/or 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in financial services with exposure to the US Structured Finance products viz. CMBS, ABS, RMBS etc.

- Ability to read and articulate legal documents in the context of CMBS/ABS/RMBS engagements

Preferred:

- Strong analytical and computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Applications (focusing mainly on MS Excel)

- Ability to explain difficult financial concepts to diverse, non-quantitative client contacts

- Strong skills of presentation, consulting, and project management

- Good communication and interpersonal skills required for client interaction
