Securitization- Associate Solution Advisor/Solution Advisor

The Securitization team is a part of the Deloitte Advisory group. As a professional in this team, with a combination of strong technical skills and industry and marketplace knowledge, you will provide services in multiple market offerings like payment date verification, due diligence on effective data modeling, due diligence on US commercial real estate transactions, and engagements with sourcing financial instrument vendor prices.

You will work with professionals with varied backgrounds and diverse experience both within the firm and from prior organizations in structured products modeling, pricing, valuation and recalculations of various payments involved and relevant portfolio tests. Professionals in this team either have pursued or are pursuing professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, and PMP within the team.

Work you will do :

- Work closely with US engagement teams with services in support of security payment activity, including asset and portfolio criteria compliance, the priority of cash flow distributions, and events of defaults for CDO, CBO, CLO, hybrid transactions, and structured funds.

- Interpreting various legal documents like Indentures, Swap Documents, Credit Agreements and Rate Reset Notices etc.

- Performing recalculations of tranche interest and principal payments, portfolio tests and their compliance as per the underlying documents.

- Performing due diligence on corporate loans which will be part of the CLO structure.

- Communicating with US teams on daily basis and drafting forward friendly emails on reviews performed.

- Helping the US engagement team with letter issuance and roll forward of excel models for future payment dates.

- Work on assigned project responsibilities and meet project requirements.

Qualifications and experience :

Required :

- MBA finance background and/or 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience in financial services with exposure to US structured products industry.

- Ability to read and articulate legal documents in the context of CLO/CDO products.

Preferred :

- Strong analytical and computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

- Ability to explain difficult financial concepts to diverse, non-quantitative client contacts.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills required for client interaction.
