Compensation Specialist

- Does problem solving excite you, Do you have strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers, As a part of the compensation specialist team in ELE, we provide an opportunity to brainstorm and analyze compensation programs and policies currently in place at Deloitte. As a compensation specialist in ELE, you will get to partner with different clients and stakeholders to ensure that pay structures at Deloitte are competitive, and that they are designed and managed to attract and retain a quality workforce. You will also gain exposure to a variety of tools, effectively manage time, and partner with business leads that will help develop your skills, your career growth, and professional development.

Work you'll do :

- Compensation Specialist will provide professional services to the Compensation Center of Expertise (CoE) in areas such as job analysis, benchmarking, survey participation, research, a variety of quantitative analytics, modeling and forecasting, and compensation systems administration. With broad direction from the Comp CoE and using solid knowledge of compensation analytical methodologies, you will independently complete a variety of broad-based compensation assignments, including making preliminary recommendations regarding pay and classification matters.

Your other responsibilities will include :

- Support the modeling of financial impact of compensation plans.

- Participate in identification, modeling, and implementation of performance metrics in support of compensation plan analysis and design.

- Partner closely with various teams and other internal clients in job analysis and benchmarking, formulating competitive market pay strategies, budgeting of merit, and annual incentive plans.

- Collaborate with the US team to understand talent priorities and help in prioritization and implementation of projects through innovation in compensation programs and policies.

- Implement and enforce high standards for quality deliverables.

- Survey management for all businesses- from identifying the right surveys for specific businesses to benchmarking the right jobs at the right level. Coordinate with survey houses on submission, reporting, and analysis.

- Collaborate with the Finance team in macro planning and forecasting of annual incentive budgets.

- Assist with internal quality assurance/compliance reviews.

The ELE team :

The Employee Lifecycle Events (ELE) team supports the US and USI Talent Professionals in a variety of core activities. Our ELE professionals manage end-to-end activities for a candidate from application management until the candidates exit. Our team adheres to established firm standards for quality, service, and delivery, i.e., delivering regular reports within time, checking workflow to ensure timely delivery, etc. The team provides a wide array of services to the US and India professionals, and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.

Qualifications Required :

- MBA HR or graduates in statistics with prior experience in compensation or related business processes

- Excellent proficiency in working on MS Excel

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills

- Leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem solving, and decision-making abilities

- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment

- Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements

Preferred :

- Experience in working on compensation tools like KeneXa, ADP- Comp planning tool, etc.

- Experience in working on cloud-based applications like SAP HR, Taleo, Success Factor or other applications in

HR/Talent :

- Experience working in HRSS department of a multinational company
