Deloitte - Manager - Statutory Audit - A&A - GIC Team - CA

As a Manager in our Statutory Audit (A&A) GIC Team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

- You are expected to lead the field team in performing the statutory audit of account balances at shared service center for the group entities based on group referral instructions and report to the Senior Manager/Director concerned. The clientele would be across a gamut of industries including technology, retail, automobile, manufacturing, pharma, telecom, software, media, FMCG etc.

- You should handle and execute external/statutory audit engagements of various clients in line with Auditing & Accounting standards as per firm's methodology.

- You should perform the audit/reviews in accordance with firm methodology to comply with the auditing standards.

- You must ensure proper documentation of audit work performed.

- You should have understanding and review of the internal control systems.

- You must ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting standards.

- You should timely coordinate with the client staff and Deloitte network firms to ensure timely completion of audit.

- You should timely communicate with client, and Deloitte network firms as well as with the seniors audit manager on audit issues.

- You must review the work papers of article clerks and assistant managerjuniors.

- You should lead and mentor article clerks and assistant managers juniors on the audit engagements.

- You should be proactive to communicate all bottlenecks and issues to your stakeholders for timely resolutions.

- You should have proficient experience of audit planning, Risk assessment, controls and substantive testing, task and deliverables management, on Shared service center audit are preferred.

Desired qualifications

- They should be qualified Chartered Accountant.

- They should have 5 - 8 years of post-qualification statutory audit experience.

- They must be excellent written and oral communication skills.

- They must demonstrate ability in delivering to agreed engagement plan.

- They should experience in client relationship development.

- They should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

- They must have advance knowledge of Indian accounting standards both current and proposed.

- They should have advance Knowledge of India auditing standards.
