As one of the leading professional services organizations, Deloitte is where you will find numerous opportunities to succeed and realize your full potential Roles & Responsibilities : - Candidate will be responsible for production support on applications on bank AWS landing zone - Track incidents end to end from root cause analysis to IR reporting to permanent fix - Support and track application downtime activities for scheduled security patching Pre-issue Resolution - Be the single point of contact for all the production issues related to given application - Be the single POC for bank business, functional, operational team and for technology partner - Understand the reported incident and the extent of the disruption - Identification of the technical issue and explore a series of troubleshooting activities to identify what is causing the issue and how to fix it by interacting with various stakeholders within and outside of the bank - Determine the level of urgency of the issue resolution - Following defined escalation path when needed, as defined in the escalation policy - Identifying the system in problem and accordingly routing the issue to the right team - Chairing the incident and problem review meetings with right stakeholders from multiple teams within and outside of bank - Getting the issue resolved within defined timeframe as per severity mentioned in SLA - Managing the incidents of all severities - Identifying incidents which need special attention or escalation - Connecting with bank senior leadership for approvals/escalations when required Emergency Release Management Process - Understand and follow bank change management process for emergency/standard application deployment process - Connect with bank BTG/BSG team to raise emergency change in bank change management tool - Get all the required control function and other approvals required for the quick and timely deployment of issue resolution - Carries out the Process Manager responsibilities for the Incident Management process Post Issue Resolution - Notifying the participants in the Incident Management process when standards and procedures are not being followed - Conducting, following up and concluding RCA for all S1, S2, S3 incidents post resolution - Sharing observations/requirements with relevant development team to fix root cause and to avoid same incident from re-occurring Regular Activities - Monitor various monitoring dashboards and raise an alarm when required as precautionary measure - Conduct periodic review of monitoring dashboard and up time of systems/applications involved in the eco-system - Get all stakeholders in a call to avoid incident occurrence - Clearly state all the action items along with SPOC name from relevant team to avoid incident occurrence - Manage and work on all support and service tickets as per their severity - Application and infrastructure vulnerability remediation - OS ,DB, middleware security patching coordination and scheduling the same on production setups. - Vendor coordination for incident - SFR tracking and weekly /regular followup with all stakeholders for resolution. Additional Responsibilities : - Manage Incident Management team ensure maximum uptime. - Minimize the impact of IT incidents to system/service users and reduce the impact on business operations like IT ticketing system, Operations console, Monitoring dashboards, Configuration management database (CMDB), Support contact lists, Impact-assessment and decision-support matrixes, Change management system etc. Core Competencies : - Understanding of AWS cloud technology and AWS services - Good understanding of AWS RDS services - Understanding of SDLC - Agile, Waterfall methodologies - Understanding of core software development technical concepts - Concepts like active-active setup, active-passive setup for application as well as databases - Disaster Recovery mechanisms, BCP mechanism - how to achieve it - Knowledge of Argo CD deployments, terraform script execution, docker images - Knowledge of Kubernetes - Understanding of networking concepts - Understanding of monitoring dashboards, related tools and services - Good presentation skills for periodic updates to bank leadership - Prior experience in Payments and Credit Card domain - Good team management and co-ordination skills
