Executive Manager - Marketing Strategy and Planning

The Executive Manager (EM) for Marketing Strategy and Planning (MS&P) team will be the Strategic Marketing Planner (SMP) working with business and business CMOs (BCMOs) to develop marketing strategy, design campaigns and marketing content.

An individual who leads from the front, thinks differently and strategically, keeps current on the latest trends, who can creatively build campaigns tied to business objectives to enhance the firm's brand value and propagate its services and products. An effective team leader who can lead teams that provide strategic support to add value to marketing decisions, planning, campaign execution and lead cross-team initiatives.

What you'll do:

As an SMP in Deloitte Services LP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US Firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of the organization in a variety of ways.

Key job responsibilities include:

- Interact with business and BCMOs to understand business and marketing context, interpret strategic intent, design powerful marketing strategy and campaigns that will deliver business value

- To serve as marketing and communications advisor to business and key stakeholders

- Work with Campaign Managers and the Communications team to detail out campaigns and ensure that they are best positioned for successful outcomes and execution

- Collaborate across the organization to design and deliver campaigns

- Develop stronger client relationships and play a vital role in driving successful marketing programs

- Plan and manage budgets

- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure success

- Keep abreast with the changes in the business environment and the marketing strategies being adopted by key competitors

- Collaborate across the organization to design and deliver campaigns

Skills and Competencies:

- A marketing and communications professional with strong understanding of marketing in professional services firm - marketing strategies, campaigns, events and operations

- Is passionate about marketing, can bring to bear the latest in marketing trends, creative thinking and innovation on specific campaigns

- Experience in brand building and good knowledge of channels in campaign activities, digital platforms, social media, web marketing and events

- Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with eye on integration

- Can work with team members in strategic marketing support, campaign planning, execution and marketing research towards guiding them in developing relevant and innovative content

- Build relationships, share new ideas and collaborate with SMP colleagues and marketers based in the U.S.

- Excellent team player with experience working in virtual teams

- Good with MS Office skills, strong verbal and written communication skills in English

The team:

- SMPs are key marketing professionals in the Marketing and Communications team at Deloitte who convert business needs into powerful marketing strategies and impactful campaigns and serve as trusted marketing and communications advisors to Businesses and BCMOs.

Qualifications and experience required:

- 15+ years of experience in marketing, with strong understanding of integrated marketing and communication strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results

- Master's degree ideally with a focus in Marketing and Communication or a related business field
