Work you'll do

As a Program Specialist, you will be required to execute the implementation of the contractor recruiting strategy for a particular service area/line. You will be collaborating with business leadership and vendors to assess needs, market intelligence, develop strategy, and implement work plans to meet the needs of various service areas/ lines. 


Your other responsibilities include:

- Effectively manage, prioritize workload and close the contractor hiring needs of the business

- Partner with the project teams/managers/practice leads to understand the requirement

- Collaborate with practice leadership to assess needs, develop strategy and implement work plans to meet the needs of various practice areas

- Manage relationships across businesses and vendor teams, establish ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand their business and recruitment needs and fill their open positions in a timely manner

- Communicate progress to business - coordinate ad-hoc reporting regarding recruiting progress

- Research and gather market intelligence through vendors and share it with the business

- Set high recruitment standards, always taking in to consideration operational excellence and compliance

- Coach managers / interview teams to incorporate capability / competency based assessments during their interview

- Effectively communicate with the vendors, candidates and internal team members while maintaining confidentiality

- Establish strong working relationships with various stakeholders- business leaders hiring managers, vendor, candidates, SPS etc.

- Maintain a critical eye for the tools and resources necessary for smooth running of the business and ensure process compliance for the entire contractor management

The team

The Operations Management team within the Talent Shared Services strives to provide improved customer experiences by focusing on operational and cost effectiveness, increased accuracy, efficiency, compliance adherence and delivering greater value through aligned solutions to the business strategies. Key areas include management of talent vendor and external contractor relationships, talent cost/spend across channels. Quality and innovation are our top priorities, the benchmark is on the rise-always.

Qualifications : 

Required:

- Graduate degree in any stream

- 8 -12 years of work experience in recruitment and contractor management

- Must have hands on experience in contractor hiring through vendors.

- Team Management experience, including virtual teams

- Proven track record of full life cycle experienced IT flexible staffing recruiting for a large firm - preferably professional services

- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment required, with end-to-end understanding of hiring, co-ordination, on-boarding, invoicing

- Ability to develop and implement successful experienced hire recruiting programs with excellent strategic and creative thinking, project management, and analytic skills

Preferred:

- MBA - HR

- Knowledge of contract labor law
