Assistant Manager - Client Account Management (CAM)

As part of this team, you'll gain exposure to a variety resources, collaboration opportunities and supervising performance of team members that will help in developing your skills and professional development.

Work you'll do :

- As a Client Account Management (CAM) professional you will work with Deloitte's account leaders and other internal stakeholders to deliver the best of the firm, strengthen relationships and help expand our services footprint at our clients.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Provide client insights, develop templates, streamline process, standardize deliverable and create research deliverable by using internal and external research tools

- Coordinate the team around collection of information, contribute to leading practices; own reporting and tracking against plan

- Work with the account leaders to develop account strategy, facilitate execution, track the progress and report them

- Act as an advisor to the account leadership by sieving through information and providing perspective

- Support information needs for special client facing projects, leadership presentations, and other research needs

- Assist in the development and maintenance of account relationship tools including relationship map, organizational charts and the political balance sheet

- Carry out company, executive, and industry specific research insights and prepare the account leadership for their client's meetings

- Manage relationship with various stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and resolve conflicts

- Share knowledge and lessons learned across accounts to achieve efficient support and bring leading practices

- Develop/streamline processes

- Analyze reports and draw inferences on Opportunity Management, Account financials, Client Service Assessment and Contract Management

- Collaborate with subject matter experts, own and drive execution of projects.

- Work with account leadership in developing and implementing the Confidentiality Information Program including onboarding and off-boarding of team members

- Build strong knowledge on aligned industry, and Client Account Management services

- Coach and mentor the team on project management, client management, teaming, and other professional attributes

- Proactively identify skill-set gaps and help design training plans

- Facilitate amicable issue-resolution for smooth functioning of the team

- Manage the performance of team members through regular check-ins, providing timely feedback based on personal observations and client responses

- Identify strengths of team members to provide them with opportunities and coach them in professional growth

- Provide inputs to quarterly talent review to foster high performance

- Coordinate with CAM/MD leadership to develop strategies and contribute to the initiative

Qualifications :

Qualification and experience Required :

- 7-10 years of professional experience in account management, market research, marketing or business development field

- At least 2-3 years experience of supervising teams

- MBA/Masters (full time) is a mandate

Skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Secondary research skills with experience in databases like Factiva, OneSource, Hoovers, Thomson, BoardEx, etc.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

- Basic understanding of SharePoint

- Strong understanding of client service, marketing, sales/pre-sales in a professional services firm

- Should be innovative, take initiative, and adapt to changes per the business requirements

- Strong understanding of key social media platforms

- Proven ability to create dashboards

- Present information in a logical flow following The Minto Pyramid Principle

- Good understanding of company financials

- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail with good client service attitude

Work Timings : 2 PM to 11 PM

Location : Hyderabad

Client Account Management (CAM) professionals assist internal account leaders in strengthening relationships and expanding services to Deloitte's most important clients. U.S. and India based CAM professionals work in partnership and help generate strategic industry, cross-functional and account level insights to address client issues.
