A Benefits specialist is responsible for providing support to the Benefits COE in the design and communication of our benefits value proposition to our businesses and professionals.

The role is part of the Total rewards COE and the incumbent in this role is expected to assist and contribute in design, development and communication of various benefit programs including Insurance, leaves, retirement, health & welfare, R&R, employee loans, other voluntary benefits etc, in line with our Total Rewards philosophy while ensuring legal compliance. This individual will help translate our Total Rewards philosophy through our benefits programs.

Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities

- Track and enhance Benefit program effectiveness

Assist in collecting program feedback, analyze data for program changes, support creating proposal/business case for any inclusions/plan changes. Liasing with the procurement team and working with the vendor for benefit renewals.

Benefits Benchmarking :

Participate in Benefits benchmarking studies with various data providers. Responsibilities include, submitting data to vendors and analyzing reports to understand market gap. Assist in creating any proposals to keep Deloitte programs market competitive. Stay up to date on various market trends and statutory requirements.

New benefits program implementation :

Support designing the program, project planning the launch, creating necessary content for our communication material, working closely with communications team, legal team, business advisory and other parties involved at each stage of plan to ensure timely roll of the program.

Benefits communications :

Work with Communication team and other team members as needed to identify communication needs and finalize documents.

Prepare communication drafts for accuracy, detail and completeness.

Plan various awareness sessions via road shows/other innovative means for employee and business leaders to make them aware of the beneifts portfolio.

Manage existing content on benefits on various platforms like intranet pages etc Responsible for accurate updating of benefits-related applications and information on internal Deloitte webpages (D net content, new hire center and deloitte.com etc). Review/revise content as and when there are changes in the program design.

Reporting and Analytics:

Track and analyze the utilization of various benefit programs and come up with insights on plan effectiveness and suggestions to increase efficacy.

Provide data reporting requests to Talent Analytics assuring complete and accurate data sets for plan renewals, mailings or other reporting/analysis, as needed. Perform basic analysis and report results of queries to management in a professional manner.

Benefits Adminstration

Act as point of contact for multiple stackholders on any queries related to benefits. Determine benefits eligibility, benefit amounts for specific cases where facts are straightforward. Escalate complicated cases.

Escalate issues to management team, as needed, to assure prompt and accurate resolution of issues escalated from stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience. Be responsive.

Liase with Call Center, operations team and other internal teams and help with knowledge material to enable better administration of benefits and claims on a day-to-day basis

As part of the Total Rewards team, you will work within the Center of Excellence to bring subject matter depth to ensure our Total Rewards are aligned with Business priorities and ensure that Talent strategies are aligned with the firm's culture.

Qualifications :

Required :

Education : MBA or Equivalent Degree

Experience Required: 3-6 years

Preferred Skills :

- Share best practices both internal and external pertaining to the HR function.

- Strong communication & Analytical skills

- Study external industry best practices through research articles, newsletters, industry bodies etc

- Knowledge of labour laws, shops and establishment act pertaining to various benefits offered to employees.

- Good knowledge of technology trends, analytics, compensation and benefits.

- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and data transmission, knowledge of Web Employee Self-Service applications

- Proactive identify trends / anticipate issues by observing various aspects of the organization including the current workforce mix, engagement patterns, compensation strategy etc to offer the right solution to client

- Ability to work in a virtual team environment with a client service focus

- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion

Location : Hyderabad

Shift Timings : 9 am - 6 pm
