Regional HR Resource

HR Site Management and Compliance - Driving an engaging workplace in our sites, ensuring local compliance for any HR initiatives and policies

Primary responsibilities

- Site Guardianship

Be a key member of the site/building leadership team, providing overall site leadership to ensure end to end HR thinking, solutions, and practices.

Represent Dell EMC to the external community on HR related matters. Monitor local labor relations, attrition & engagement trends. Advise on courses of action.

Manage BCRP and crisis management, including local site liaison with Facilities, Security and EHS Business strategy Enabler

- Business strategy Enabler

Ensure cross BU collaboration on unique and differentiated business requirements (e.g. IBP programs)

Partner with HRBPs and COEs for appropriate design and execution of business requirements, ensuring legal and infrastructure compliance

Coordinate the local delivery and execution of workforce transitions (e.g. acquisitions, MSDs, WFR etc.)

- Legal Guardianship

Has expert knowledge of local legislative frameworks

Provides advice and counsel to HRBPs and COEs to ensure local compliance for global programs or actions

Provides assurance that all HR practices are compliant with regulatory requirements, internal policies, labor contracts and relevant statutes

Represents Dell EMC on external labor associations

Office bearer for any legally required positions or statutory liabilities in country

Adherence to local governance policies - Immigration related matters

- Direct Relationships

- Develop and implement labor relations strategies

- Lead local relationships with employee representative bodies

- Determine leadership readiness & training needs for local requirements

- Drive initiatives to position Dell EMC as a Great Place to Work

- Enhance & provide solutions for end to end customer experience

- Lead & support programs to develop Inspirational leaders

- Implementing/executing HR Services annual initiatives/programs

- Change Management - Ensure site RHR team is trained on new/redesigned processes/tools or technology changes so that the team becomes subject matter experts driving a great employee/end user experience - create change and communication plan for medium/large scale improvements/implementations

- Manage day-to-day high profile escalations regarding team members, employment issues and crisis management

Management Services

Designated professional HR Practitioners delivering leadership support and consultative solutions aimed to support and elevate the effectiveness of people leaders at Dell in leadership - moments that matter- Responsive and pro-active leadership support solutions related to core processes/programs such as:

- Building Teams: Selecting Talent; Effective Workforce/Resource Planning; Organizational Hygiene (Understanding Spans/Layers); Understanding Labor Cost Management Options and Vehicles to Optimize

- Creating a Clear Path: Ensuring Successful Onboarding & Assimilation; Creating Org/Team Vision; Aligning Goals to BU vision & strategies; Performance Goal Setting

- Managing Performance & Development: Delivering Effective Feedback and Evaluations; Providing Inspirational Coaching/Mentoring; Driving Team & Individual Development

- Listening & Engaging: Tell Dell Action Planning; Ways to Bring-In the Voice of the TM

- Managing Compensation & Meritocracy: Making Effective Pay Planning Decisions; Identifying, Rewarding & Recognizing Top Performance

- Managing Team Transitions: Connected Workplace Decisions & Leading a Dispersed Team; Organizational Effectiveness/WFR Decision-Making

Scope

- As defined in the position description (building/ location/ region)

- Coverage 150+ people leaders as defined in the position description

Organization

- Reports to Regional HR Lead for the site/region

- Individual Contributor

Qualifications

- Post Graduate degree in HR/Behavioral sciences /SHRM with 10 - 15 years (dependent on position requirement) HR experience

- Familiar with a variety of HR functions, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment in leading the site

- Ability to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions

- Able to delegate work assignments, set expectations and monitor delegated activities

- Strong and effective verbal and written communication

- Ability to collaborate and recommend options and relate sensitively to issues

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
