Dell - Director - Product Management (16-24 yrs)

The incumbent would manage the product brand/marketing team for the Commercial team in India responsible for management of Dell's product portfolio - laptops, desktops, workstations & tablets

- Broader responsibilities would be to oversee strategic planning, development and coordination of all portfolio and product definition activities as well as the working with teams on marketing communications programs to promote the sale of Dell's consumer & commercial / enterprise range of client products.

- He/she would manage product portfolio and its associated P&L including Market analysis, roadmap definition and aligning marketing & GTM activities designed to increase product sales growth and expand market share.

- Develop and implement product related programs and activities related to product/brand management, product development and pricing.

- Extensive working with cross functional teams e.g. Demand supply, pricing, forecast & product group to ensure seamless offering of End User Computing platforms

Other Responsibilities :

- Drives LOB strategic initiatives in emerging or established markets that present large opportunities for Dell's LOB

- Responsible for executing on functional and business goals for the group.

- Addresses problems across functional areas of the business.

- Responsible for meeting End User Computing goals and objectives including PnL

- Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities.

- Oversee the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.

People Manager responsibilities :

- Manage the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.

- Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.

- Communicates and translates Dell vision/strategy to staff.

- Graduation + Postgrad/MBA from a premier institute with least 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, including at least 5 years of people manager experience

- Prior experience in handling Consumer & commercial / enterprise (desktops, laptops, tablets, workstations) products sales & marketing is necessary

- Extensive understanding of technology and the IT industry / competitor landscape in the country

- Strong Leadership skills -- Ability to Build Effective teams and manage/develop Direct Reports

- Good Business and Financial Acumen

- Excellent communication skills.

- High Drive for Results to consistently meet and exceed the business objectives
