Role purpose : Steer digitalization efforts for Sales functions company-wide. Work closely with IT business partners who will identify business challenges. Should align suitable IT solutions (COTS, bespoke, etc). Priortize and drive IT automation projects along with the concerned delivery organizations (internal or external). Run the delivery teams in ensuring that the requirements are properly understood and implemented. Ensure adoption of implemented solutions. Ensure that the budgets are adhered to and projects are successfully concluded as per specified conditions. Responsibilities: - Monitor and manage end-to-end delivery of programs and projects sponsored by one or more customer groups to scope, time and budget - Enforce standard methodologies, processes and tools - Provide leadership and direction to project team members - Evaluate and identify potential redundant applications, infrastructure and tools - Understanding the pipeline of demand and work with the Resource Planners to ensure an appropriate supply of resources - Managing and leading complex stakeholders towards optimal solutions while helping them understand resource constraints and prioritisation - Responsible for the overall IT requirements of sales and logistics functions of business groups in addition to other functions like HR. - Responsible for the investigation and implementation of any new technologies that would contribute to the improvement, efficiency and enhancement of existing systems or technologies in the sub-vertical - Prioritize and drive key strategic initiatives to enhance business performance - Define budgets for identified initiatives - Prepare business requirements/functional specs/benefits with the help of business analysts - Engage with Delivery and Vendors to ensure initiatives are delivered - Facilitate the acceptance of the system and ensure requisite processes and resources are aligned prior to implementation. - Define the implementation plan and participate in the roll-out of the application/module/project within and across related functions - Define and implement program governance models and conduct the requisite programs to steer projects - Ensure business processes are optimized prior to automation - Drive adoption and ensure business objectives are met - Manage risks and ensure mitigation Ideal Candidate : Essential: B.E./ B.Tech/ MBA/ MCA Preferred: MBA Should have exposure in similar role preferably in Engineering set up
