THE EMPLOYER: - We have been retained to hire a seasoned professional in the capacity of Delivery Head for the software services business of our client - a growing, mid-sized IT Services firm, for its global delivery centre in Delhi-NCR. This co., headquartered in the US, is close to two decades old in the market and majorly deals in software services & products and digital solutions (powered by emerging technologies like SMAC, AI, ML and Big Data). The co. is mostly focused in western markets, led by Americas. INDICATIVE CANDIDATE PROFILE TYPE: - The Delivery Head will be a software services delivery champion with a min. 15 years of overall experience in the software services/IT services domain, initially as a software developer, followed by as a project management professional/technical manager, latest being as a leader of delivery for various businesses/verticals/programs at his/her present employer firm. - Someone with strong technology know-how & leadership experience at the core, bundled with extensive P&L and delivery leadership role playing at services companies, is most likely to make an ideal fit. - Full-time education in engg. or computer science or a related discipline is a must, preferably if from reputable institutions like IITs/IISc/RECs/Jadavpur University/Pune University, etc., but not absolutely mandatory though. THE JOB: - To lead delivery and technology management for the services business at the co., including but not limited to the overall P&L for this part, cutting across business & industry practices and report in to the C or C minus 1 level at the top management.
