Delhivery is seeking a Service Designer to join us in Goa in a UX Research, strategy and design centric role. In this role, you will work with teams of experts to create solutions for the digital and physical realms. As a Service Designer, you- ll be a hands-on design expert, taking concepts forward and working hand-in-hand with partners to implement services in a variety of settings. You are: 1. A key contributor or leader in having launched, run, or scaled a service or a business 2. A hands-on designer, capable of working in the field and in the boardroom 3. A trained systems thinker adept at zooming out to see the big picture, then diving in to nail the details 4. Passionate about growing people-first services 5. Unafraid of launching and iterating quickly using data 6. Testing (unmoderated and in-depth usability), listening, observing and taking feedback are your ammo 7. In it all the way - from value proposition to brand to customer experience to scale, you thrive in putting all of the pieces together 8. Adept in UX methods such as design, research, information architecture and strategies for problem mapping, extracting insights and helping stakeholders co-create solutions 9. Fluent in design and whiteboarding tools such as Sketch App, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro and Marvel etc. 10. Very fluent in oral and editorial English 11. Inspiring, open-minded, hardworking, collaborative, and have a sense of humor:) Your role will include: Design:- 1. Champion Service Design within Delhivery and work with partners to design and scale our logistics services for different categories of our clients 2. Design for both the target user's experience and for different contributors and stakeholders within the organization 3. Serve as a contributor and advisor to the greater Delhivery team in developing services across type and scale Team Facing (Internal) :- 1. Distill business, customer, and partner constraints into digestible components for the design and product team, helping contextualise demand and define need 2. Instill project teams with the confidence and discipline to explore innovative design solutions while respecting deadlines and putting the company's strategy into perspective. 3. Ensure the coherence of the project Be collaborative. Contribute to healthy team motivation and morale, offering emotional and 4. logistical support. 5. Facilitate internal communication. Partner / Client Facing (External) - Including this here is optional. 1. Communicate the story of Delhivery's work with partners, funders, and stakeholders 2. Participate in the delivery of a range of projects, defining project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders 3. Work with the respective program directors to issue regular status reports and troubleshoot problem areas 4. Be the point person in collecting data that shows the impact of the solutions we bring to the table Functional Skills :- 1. Proven experience of launched services that have been implemented in the real world Deep expertise in design thinking/human-centered design 2. In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant service design discipline 3. Systems Design, Business Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UX Design Behavioral Skills :- 1. Uncompromising integrity and work ethic 2. Ability to work within a self-directed culture, take complete ownership and navigate ambiguity 3. Ability to execute under tight deadlines 4. Experience designing and/or implementing solutions in resource-constrained environments 5. Outstanding communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization Desired Education & Work Experience:- 1. A degree in Design / Human Interaction from a good design school 2. At least 5+ years of experience as a UX designer and researcher, service designer, experience strategist, or related discipline or professional experience in a design consultancy or equivalent position 3. Extensive experience in a fast-paced environment with hands-on exposure to scale & complexity would be ideal to succeed in this role
