Delhivery - Senior Manager - Solutions Development (Inplant / Inbound Logistics)

Job Responsibilities :

- Acquisition of new businesses ensuring profitability to meet budgeted margins mostly focused on inbound logistics and In-plant warehousing

- Identify, profile, build and close large enterprise deals for integrated logistics and warehousing

- Identifying opportunities with market know-how/ meeting new customers to broaden the opportunity list and develop new customers

- Forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly Sales goals and developing specific plans to ensure long and short-term growth

- Map the market and maintain a market intelligence of customers in the region.

- Develop a prioritized target customer list and focus sales efforts to penetrate and grow the target customers

- Building & maintaining relationships within senior management at the customer's business who can facilitate decision-making & actions needed to achieve the required results

- Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals.

- Present to and consult with senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services and products

- Actively work/support the customized solution design for E2E requirements with expertise in Inbound logistics and In-plant warehousing

- Should have exposure to new-age technologies to drive the meaningful conversation with clients in the Auto domain

- Work with the solution team to develop relevant new solutions for the market by providing market intelligence and customer needs inputs

- Negotiate with clients and prepare/manage rate quotations, proposals, and other sales materials

Candidate Profile :

- Candidate should have 8+ yrs. experience in Logistics / SCM BD Role preferably with 3PL companies

- Candidate should have excellent communication skills, good negotiation & co-ordination, market intelligence, generate business inquiries, expanding sales & ensure the profitability of the company

- Sound knowledge in warehouse / Distribution of different verticals

- Strong knowledge of Inbound logistics and Line feeding operations specifically in - Automotive companies

- Knowledge of JIT, JIS, VMI, Kaizen, 5S, WMS, and TMS and their impact on production logistics

- Expert in manpower mapping through various methods like Time-motion study and process optimization techniques

- Understand the manufacturing operation and shop floor operation

- Understanding and interest in new-age technologies impacting the supply chain
