Area Sales Manager North India (Casting & Forging Industry)
- To lead and manage sales operations across the North India region, expanding our customer base, increasing market share, and achieving revenue targets.
- The Area Sales Manager will act as a key representative of Deem Roll Tech Ltd, building strong client relationships and providing technical sales support for our range of rolls and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development and sales growth across North India (Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, etc.
- Identify and target potential customers including steel rolling mills, integrated steel plants, and OEMs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and offer technically suitable roll solutions.
- Achieve sales targets through strategic planning, client acquisition, and retention.
- Conduct site visits, presentations, product trials, and technical discussions with customers.
- Liaise with the internal team (production, R&D, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Regularly monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
- Top performers may be given opportunities for overseas exposure, including handling international clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 6 to 12 years of industrial/B2B sales experience, preferably in the steel, casting, forging, or heavy engineering sector.
- Hands on experience in dealing with industrial clients and managing regional territories.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the North India region.
Key Skills:
- Strong technical acumen with deep understanding of forged and cast roll applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in MS Office.
