Decision Point - Senior Data Engineer - Python

The Person will work as a Senior Data Engineer in Data Engineering team of Decision Point, Translating business and functional user requirements into functioning solutions

An ideal candidate will be/have:

- Good experience in computer programming languages such as: SQL and Python

- Knowledge of other languages OR big data tools (Hive, Spark) is a plus

- Knowledge of cloud platforms is a plus. Certification in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Google will be considered a very good asset

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

- Sound knowledge of Database administration like: Managing MySQL Server, MS SQL Server

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively, articulate results and issues to internal and client teams

- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

- Experience supporting and working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment
