Decision Point - Manager - Business Development (2-5 yrs)

If the thought of generating leads through identifying potential contacts/organization and creating leads and initiating contact with senior decision makers (CXOs) is something that works for you then you have a business development streak in you. If you can establish cordial working relationships with our client businesses and be able to address their needs and liaise with our technical team in doing so, then we would like to meet you.

The incumbent for the position is expected to deliver but not limited to on following responsibilities

- Determine, track and meet key business development KPIs

- Responsible for content development for BD. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. Prepare and update client's objective/KRAs to find opportunities

- Articulate DP`s differentiation, value proposition and highlight business benefits of engagements through e-mail, voice and in-person interactions

- Prepare sales contracts and client side sign up requirements (NDAs etc.)

- Scoping and delivering Proof of concept / Proof of value engagements with prospects

- Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives

- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

- Keeping track of the RFPs in the relevant sector and organizations; developing channels for the same

- Creating and owning different Point of View documents for Industries, Practice areas, along with case studies, white papers and other sales collaterals and assist Sales in pitch evangelism

- Work closely with the Development and Implementation team to provide the right solution to the customers. Partner with project leads to understand business briefs and execution Plan

An ideal candidate will be/have:

- Excellent communication and presentations skills with an ability to engage with VP & Sr. Director level stakeholders from client's business and analytics team and with internal remote teams to define advanced analytic solutions to business problems

- Proven working experience and track record as a business development manager, Solution architect or a relevant role

- Strong analytical skills are necessary and experience in consulting domain is a plus

- Excellent research skills are must; FMCG/CPG Market knowledge is a plus

- Ability to maintain customer relationships effectively; which includes tackling difficult clients and their issues

- Infect peers with enthusiasm and facilitate healthy team interaction
