Senior Research Analyst

Qualification :

- MBA (Finance)

- CFA (even appearing for Level 2/3 would be an added advantage)

Experience : A minimum of 3 to 5 Years in Investment Research/Equity Research with a demonstrated experience of handling client projects/assignments deftly

Shift Timing : 12PM-9 PM

Key Responsibilities :

1. Conduct independent investment research on assigned areas

2. Cater to various ad hoc project requirements originating from the client

3. Prepare valuation models on companies, real estate assets, etc. (using DCF, relative valuation methodologies)

4. Assess and measure impact of risk on investment decisions

5. Create reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders of the Client

6. Ensure that deliverables are aligned to and meet project and client requirements.

7. Actively build and strengthen relationships internally and externally

8. Proactive in idea generation

9. Communicating and articulating well to the client over the phone and email

10. Prepare quality write-ups required by the client

Skill Requirements :

1. Good understanding of various valuation methods (DCF, DDM, relative) and proficiency in building financial models

2. Exposure to valuation of real estate assets/companies/REITs would be an added advantage, but not a pre-requisite

3. Previous experience in preparing high-quality presentations

4. Experience in report writing with ability to draft clear, succinct, and powerful content

5. Oriented and open to iterative nature of work

6. Exposure to investment analysis and risk assessment role

7. Flexibility, adaptability, intellectually curious, creative, and comfortable working with ambiguity.

8. High degree of self-motivation and commitment to self-development and learning

9. Strong blend of analytical thinking and operations execution with eye for details

10. Good MS office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

11. Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg and Thomson

12. Should be able to handle the work independently and at the same time be a team player who is open to work in a collaborative manner
