Decimal Point Analytics - Product Manager (5-8 yrs)

Role Objective:

- You will own the vision and product strategy, define product requirements and the long-term roadmap, and influence stakeholders, partner teams and engineering teams with thought leadership to deliver an impactful product successfully in production

- As a Product Manager you will take ownership of your team's product roadmap and manage the end-to-end delivery of new features.

- To be successful you'll collaborate with a talented team of developers, operation team, and of course product colleagues.

- You'll also become an expert on customers, by analysing data, curating feedback across multiple channels, and by speaking to customers.

- You will enjoy this role if you care about helping data centric businesses succeed, you enjoy creating innovative technology, and you want to see ideas quickly shipped into production.

Product Innovation:

- Understand target group including existing customers- needs that can fulfilled through a technology offering by closely engaging with them, and through structure interaction with internal teams i.e. operations, sales, etc. as well as existing/potential customers

- Prioritize opportunity area that can be solved given the organizational capacity and feasibility

- Create product concepts to achieve the goal of helping customers function efficiently

- Refine, validate and identify top product concepts using available data

- Rapidly test and iterate identified product concept among users

- Create prototypes of the successfully tested product concepts

Product Development:

- Translate insights into a product strategy from driving consensus internally, design, engineering, operations, and developing success metrics.

- Work with operations subject matter experts and use a broad range of sources to develop innovative functionality

- Design processes, workflows and functional components to improve efficiencies.

- Work with tech team and subject matter experts to get project requirements well scoped, designed and built.

- Map out talent requirement for the product

- Work with internal teams such as HR, marketing, operations and sales to launch the product.

- Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with internal teams and keep stakeholders updated.

Candidate Profile:

Key requirement:

- Min of 5yrs plus product management experience, ideally in B2B and within FinTech/ Financial services

- Proven project management and communication skills, ideally working in a fast-paced/start-up environment

- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to leadership

- You'll have experience building solutions for end customers and managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

- UX design

- Analytical skills will also be viewed as a plus, especially in understanding data (e.g. Excel, R, Python)

- Prior experience using Agile methodologies such as Scrum

- Exposure to Lean Product Development Framework and TOC will be advantage
