Decathlon - Financial Organizer (3-5 yrs)
ROLE:
To partner with technology and functional stakeholders to build and implement a technology roadmap for supporting the finance processes in line with the strategies defined by the Business Units in diverse activities ranging from goods production to retailing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work with the cross functional stakeholders in technology and Finance to ensure the project delivers desired outcomes.
- Be involved in tasks that provide support to the accounting team and key decision makers and be the interface between the business and technology/systems
- Plan and lead new automation projects for Finance
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness
- Own financial process controls and reporting operational effectiveness
- Frame processes for Finance Operations within guidelines, strategic goals, related policies and procedures
- Ensure periodic check in ERP and other tools for adherence to all laid down processes
- Propose changes to address business requirements
- Improve financial skills by training, validating monitors locally and disseminating best practices.
- Set-up and improve our financial tools depending on local and group rules
- Actively build strong relationships with Business Unit (BU) Finance Leadership and extended key stakeholders to drive a change management program
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Finance
- Strong interest for financial processes, tools and project management
- Team spirit and a strong sense of customer service
- Energy and curiosity to understand and improve our financial processes
