They are looking for a Dean Management for their new campus to develop strategies to develop their institute to world educational destination.

Dean Management :

The Dean is the academic and administration head of the College of Management, who provides institutional leadership and oversight, driving the mission, strategies and advancement of the College and acting as the chief advocate, principal ambassador and the voice of the College.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Implement the Vision & Mission of the institution and plan, develop & implement strategic measures towards developing the institution into a Centre of Excellence

- Provide strategic leadership to all the stakeholders of the institution such as HODs, faculty, students, etc. and ensure that a healthy environment of trust, cohesiveness & harmony is nurtured on campus

- Discuss with all key stakeholders in the College of Management and prepare a list of annual initiatives and targets for the institution related to academics, research, etc. and advice the management on the feasibility, pros and cons of the targets for the year. Review the targets on a regular basis and present reports to the management

- Coordinate with the stakeholders and take necessary steps to fulfill requirements of all statutory, regulatory and governing body requirements for all factors namely academics, curriculum, student and faculty strength, human resource, infrastructure, campus and facilities, etc.

- Develop, plan, implement and evaluate all the programs, courses and electives offered in the college and oversee the academic planning, pedagogy and curriculum for each. Also oversee the development, planning and implementation of new UG, PG and other programs for the college

- Develop, plan, implement and evaluate the research agenda for the institution and foster an environment which encourages research initiatives by the faculty, students and other stakeholders

- Encourage and foster more research projects, consultancy projects and management development programs by the college

- Continue to seek opportunities to develop and continue interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives with other Colleges, Schools and Institutes.

- Initiate and oversee activities designed to improve teaching skills within the Faculty and ensure that teaching methods are state-of-the-art

- Administrate rules and regulations as per the service rules / code of conduct and laws of the institution to ensure honest and efficient functioning of the institution

- Oversee formation and operations of various committees to ensure a safe and enriching place of work / study is provided for all stakeholders. Also form committees as and when required for new projects and initiatives to be implemented

- To foster academic relationships with other institutions both in India and abroad for the benefit of the students and the academic fraternity and assure active engagement and collaboration with community partners to improve health through partnership, outreach, and health advocacy

- Supervise and foster placements opportunities for the students

- Coordinate with the stakeholders and assist in preparation of the annual budget for the college and oversee allocation and utilization of the resources

- Oversee all recruitments and appointments in the college and oversee the entire performance management and appraisal mechanism cycle for the employees

- Ensure appropriate order, discipline, efficient management, safety and quality exist in the institution

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Recognized doctorate qualification in a relevant branch of management and other academic qualifications from recognized institutions

- Minimum of 10 years administration and teaching experience as Dean / Professor / Associate Professor in a management college / institution out of which at least 5 years should be as a Dean / Professor

- Age below 65 years

- Understanding of the principles and practice of policy and strategy development, implementation and evaluation
