Our client is one of the top 5 Film schools in the country run by a professional team and one of the biggest film Studio's of south. Supported by three generations of film personalities in various fields.

The Dean is the executive head of the faculty concerned and, as academic leader, is responsible for the strategic positioning and pursuit of our client's strategic goals as derived from Vision 2020.

Location : Hyderabad : We are looking for candidates only from Film School background

Education : MA / MFA and PhD (Film and Media)

ACADEMICS

- Review the process of Design, Development and Implementation of curriculum - graduate, post-graduate, short and long term courses and elearning courses

- Provide guidance to Faculty (permanent, guest and Consultant) on appropriate methods and materials (Pedagogy)

- Monitoring of teaching practices. Coaching and Mentoring faculty members on an ongoing basis

- Explore and guide faculty and Operations staff on the use of new methods / methodologies / technology for teaching / learning in the field of film and media 

- Ensure teaching and non-teaching staff effectively collaborate to meet organisational goals 

- Responsible for design, development and implementation of faculty assessment policy and procedures.

- Ensure the process ties up with College performance management process

- Provide ongoing feedback to all members of the Academic team

- Responsible for ensuring that 25% of the course (Theory) is delivered through the use of technology / digital classrooms/flipped classes (including and not limited to)

- Responsible to work with management to make the budget financial viable. 

- Responsible for planning , presenting, implementing and adhering to approved budgets

- Any other responsibilities as required and requested by Dean/ HOD/ College management / board
