Our client is looking for DEAN

Key Responsibilities :

- The dean shall have primary responsibility for representing the views of the college faculty to all groups and persons external to the college, particularly to the central administration of the university.

- The dean shall be responsible for the administration and efficient conduct of the educational program of the college and for integrating the plans of the college with those of the university.

- The dean shall enforce the policies and regulations adopted by the Board of Trustees, the Office of the President, the Faculty Senate, and the college faculty. In addition, the dean's efforts shall be guided by the specific responsibilities contained in the job description for the Dean of the College of Education.

- As chief academic officer of the college, the Dean is responsible for the academic, personnel, financial, and administrative affairs of the college.

- The Dean is also responsible for communicating the vision and goals of the College to community and professional constituencies.

- The Dean would also be responsible for Corporate Relations for Planning and Organizing International and Domestic Campus Recruitment, Business Development and Corporate Tie-ups - Marketing Customized Training Programs, Organizing Seminars and Conferences, Alumni Relations etc. heading the Placement/ Corporate Relations

- Handle interface between the Institute and corporate world, empanelling and bringing corporates from various sector for campus recruitment and Summer Internship Projects, Alumni Relations, initiating tie-ups with the corporate s for business development and various activities, facilitating Scholarships and Joint certification programs with the corporate world, marketing customized management /executive development Program etc.
