Position Manager - Asset Procurement Key Responsibilities: - The incumbent is responsible for managing the procurement of warehouse items and new developments for PAN India - Should have a detailed knowledge about the equipment & materials used in the warehouse/hub/ distribution centre / fulfilment centre - Handle the procurement of racks, pallets, MHEs, conveyer & other warehouse automation equipment - Should have an ability to understand the requirement and analyze the pros & cons of the design and technology - Evaluates new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements with them - Work closely with the warehouse technical facility team for understanding the requirement related to equipment maintenance & replacement - Work with the project managers and warehouse design team to understand the warehouse layout & legal compliance with respect to the new warehouse setup - Work on and operational reporting tools What are we looking for: - 8-12 years of experience in handling procurement for new warehouse setup, MHEs, racking, pallets etc - Should be from the e-commerce/logistics industry - Should have handled large volume and pan India procurement - Excellent analytical skills - Flexibility to adopt to any environment/situations arising due to business criticality - Should be a hard negotiator & hold good communication skills
