Datakrew - Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to be responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects. You will be working closely with the product and solutions team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. You will be getting trained on our platforms MADS and AXON to deliver the projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Understand the Client Product/Projects and requirements: Understand in detail the application to be developed and the workflow. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of IoT solutions as per desired timelines, budget and quality. You will be a stakeholder in requirements gathering from customer and spec sheet preparation for final delivery.

Stakeholder Management: Preparing relevant reports by gathering, analysing and summarising relevant information. Ensuring that all the stakeholders (client, team members and delivery project managers) are updated with the latest status action, items, next steps, risks and potential showstoppers and dependencies.

Risk Management: Identify risk early in the project and communicate the risks and risk mitigation plans to stakeholders, always keep an eye on the potential risks in the project and immediately highlight them to the respective stakeholders or to the delivery managers.

Implementing Scrum Process: Define sprints, manage and control sprints (to deliver as planned on schedule). You will be expected to manage multiple projects which would be a mix of multiple small and medium scale projects. You will be creating project plans and tracking the status of the project development and solution creation via project plans and control the projects if there is any deviation or tending towards deviation in the project plan (Scope, Schedule, and Time Management).

Managing the teams: Assign tasks, get the ETA, prioritise tasks and ensure there are no slippage in timeline and quality of delivery from the Product team. In case of any bugs or support tickets created by the support team you will be responsible for assigning the tickets to the responsible team member and get it delivered.

What makes you an ideal Candidate:

1.Typically 4-6 Years of experience in the development cycle including at least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager.

2.Proven track record of IT / IoT delivery, liaising with cross-functional project teams in a complex and changing environment.

3.Familiarity with software development and IoT ecosystem. Knowledge of common protocols used in IoT such as HTTP, MQTT, CoAP etc.

4.Work experience with Python and SQL. Knowledge of REST APIs, databases and networks.

5.Product Management and Business Analyst experience is a huge plus.

6.Good verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.

7.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Solid organisational skills.

8.Experience in managing multiple team members in multiple technologies.

9PMP/Scrum/Prince 2 Certification along with Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.

Experience in Project Management tools like JIRA, Pivotal Tracker, TeamWork etc.
