Data Scientist - Retail/Telecom/CPG/Insurance Domain

Role and responsibilities :

As a Data Scientist you will be responsible to :

- Interacts with business clients to understand clients's strategy, conditions, and problem areas.

- Produces actionable & compelling recommendations by interpreting, exploring, identifying and communicating insights discovered within complex data set

- Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured data to generate actionable insights & solutions

- Constructs predictive models, algorithms and probability engines; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on actual results

Essential Qualifications :

To qualify for this role you will have to :

- Have a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in either statistics/Mathematics/ engineering / Economics

- Strong Expertise in visualization tools like Qlikview, Tableau and in Stats tools like R, SPSS, Matlabs, SAS

- Experienced on the commercial side in any of the specific domains like retail, telecom, CPG, Insurance (more B2C areas)

- Ability to use analytics to drive key success metrics in the specific domain and can work well with others
