Profile:
- Having 2-4 years of experience in business analytics preferably in the retail domain.
- Graduated from a reputed college with an engineering degree or statistics/math with equivalent experience in coding
- Postgraduate with an analytical degree, preferably MBA with majors in operations/econometrics/marketing
Roles and responsibilities:
- As an assistant manager, you are expected to execute existing processes and identify areas of improvement and optimization
- Handle specific project threads independently and also provide collaboration in other projects
- Assist other teams, if required, in their project streams and help in the recruitment process
- Mentor any new members of the team and documenting the processes within the team
Project related skills:
- The AM is expected to understand client requirements through direct communication on mails and provide actionable solutions
- Must be excellent at solving problems through a structured analytical approach and present the results in a client-friendly format. Should be able to come up with solutions/ideas with respect to any new requests from the client
- Must be comfortable in handling & manipulating huge data through SQL
- Good knowledge of machine learning techniques, particularly Logistic regression, Linear regression and time series analysis (exponential smoothening, ARIMAX, SARIMAX). Any other skill over and above these will be an add-on
- Along with the above one must have excellent knowledge of general statistical techniques such as various hypothesis tests (t-test, z-test, chi-sq test), univariate/bivariate analysis, ANOVA etc.
Software skills required: SAS, R, Excel(no VBA/PowerPivot/macros knowledge required specifically),SQL (MS SQL/Teradata/Oracle)
