Position summary: For those who love to build large ML capability and see the joy of it being used in a very agile and dynamic environment. This role provides the ability to work @ scale and challenge yourself (like at a start-up). For those who have a passion for data science and in particular building complex Machine Learning Models.

Core ML Model development for business and horizontal capabilities

- Develop & Deliver ML projects across the organization @scale delivery & capability levels

- Working with business for the ML models to be consumerizable (with support from Management Team)

- Strong Cross functional engagements including support functions like IT, etc.

- Strong Data Science Subject Matter Experience (algorithmic coding level | plus constantly self-learning advanced capability)

Mandatory Skills: - Minimum 3 to 4 years of core ML work experience (Banking Domain preferred)

- Must be currently hands-on - Strong Data Science Coding Level (Near Production / High Quality Code)

- Languages : R|Py|Spark

- Working on large data (TB & Beyond)

- Strong Exploratory Data Analysis

- Working in agile delivery models

- Using Cloud based infrastructure | Notebook | Docker

- Work with limited supervision (one broad directions are given)

- Educational - Strong educational background in Mathematical, Statistical & Data science orientations (masters level preferred)

- Cross-functional engagements including business, support functions like IT, etc.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- Mandatory to have minimum 3 to 4 years of core ML work experience (coded and built models | No Management Skills required |

- Working on models with large data is preferred

- Strong Data Science Coding Level (Near Production / Quality Code)

- Hands-on experience as a Machine learning algorithms and working in medium to complex business problems is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of data science languages such as (R,Py) is mandatory

 Mandatory Technical Skills

- Big Data Ecosystem, (such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark),

- Languages - Spark, R|Py (Mandatory)

- Production scale Database (such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL),

- NoSQL (such as HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Cosmos, Arango, Orient)

- Data Warehousing (such as Microsoft Azure DW, Redshift, Teradata, Vertica)

- Cloud based infrastructure | Notebook | Docker

- Operating system Linux friendly is desirable

- Strong IT & Business interactions capability

- Constantly ahead of curve in latest Data Science related technologies and capabilities that are relevant to BFL/ Business

- Ability to think to understand complex business requirements and render them as prototype systems with quick turnaround time.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must

- Nice to have the capability to work effectively across internal and external partners/virtual teams

- Strong team working and working with grounded collaborations (inter and intra teams)

- Strong sense of humility is a must
