Hiring for a a leading financial brand in Pune
Profile : Data Scientist
Experience : 6 - 12 years
- Data Scientist with 4+ years- of experience, including experience in implementing end to end large Analytics programs.
- Experience on R/Python language for model development is mandatory
Must have skill set :
- To validate the model results and articulate the insights to the business team.
- Good knowledge on machine learning methods like regression, logistic regression, random forest, support vector machine, neural networks, clustering etc
- Drive the Business requirements gathering for Analytics and Reporting projects
Key Responsibilities :
- To execute proof of concepts and implement projects in Advanced Analytics using Statistical and Machine learning techniques for deriving business insights with measurable success.
- To create Solution approach for innovative scenarios
- To define hypothesis and to identify the analysis trail for the given business problem.
- To collaborate with technology team and support the development of analytical models with the effective use of data and analytic techniques.
- To validate the model results and articulate the insights to the business team.
- Drive the Business requirements gathering for analytics projects
Good to have skill set :
- Proficient in working with R, Python, a business analytics tool, widely used in the industry for deep and heavy-duty data analysis.
- Analysts would support various projects through industry scale data analysis and modeling using R.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their data and analysis requirements, would prepare detailed data analysis reports and mathematical and statistical models, and share insights and business impacts with key stakeholders
- They would support project teams in their day-to-day analytical needs using R and excel based tools.
