Data Scientist - Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence - FinTech

We are looking for a highly driven Data Scientist to join a Leading & growing FinTech. We are looking for someone with strong MACHINE LEARNING, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND QUANTITATIVE background to work on very exclusive projects. Organization is a leader in its field, working on cutting edge projects within AI and Machine Learning.

The Accountabilities:

- Perform advanced data mining / analysis using state-of-the-art methods

- Depending on the context and objective to reach, select the most appropriate features/methods, build and optimize data classifiers using machine learning techniques

- Develop and apply complex statistical models and innovative data visualizations to discover hidden insights and reveal business value.

- Expose comprehensive results, demonstrate business value and advise on way forward to a senior management / executive audience by translating data-driven insights into clear decisions and action plans.

- Create and deliver data driven products (like automated decision systems, AI based anomaly detection, etc) and execute corresponding performance monitoring until industrializing phase

- Promote ingestion of (new) information / data sources (internal and external when needed) that are relevant for building analytic systems.

Abilities & Skills:

- Analytical thinking / Problem solving skills

- Self-learning and hacking spirit

- Strong business acumen (understanding of business processes and underlying data)

- Expertise in Data Ingestion / Processing and Modelling: able to express complex data needs / understanding of data quality-cleansing processes & methods

- Extensive Corporate Data Knowledge: aware of majority of company business processes and underlying data and able to challenge data quality

- Advanced expertise in Data visualization and data analysis: able to use standard and non-standard visualization tools and coaching of less experienced users

- Statistical expertise: able to build predictive models leveraging advanced machine learning techniques and active in data science community (publish own model / package)

- Exposure to following tools & techniques:

Data Visualization tools like R Studio as editor + ability to leverage non-standard data visualisation libraries

Data Analysis using advanced SQL / Scripting in R-Python

Ability to develop predictive models and leverage advanced statistical algorithms, including R / Python libraries or any other suitable open source techniques
