Role and Responsibilities :

- Customer focused product development mindset

- Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field by continuous learning and proactively champion promising new methods relevant to the problems at hand

- Build tools and support structures needed to analyze data, perform elements of data cleaning, feature selection, and feature engineering and organize experiments in conjunction with best practices

- Able to write a production-level code and mentor juniors

- Demonstrate ability to propose novel solutions to problems, performing experiments to show the feasibility and refining the solution until it becomes a reality

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- BS/MS in Computer Science

- 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of NLP and Information Extraction

- Hands-on exposure to various open-source NLP packages like SpaCy, NLTK, CoreNLP

- Good knowledge of Information Retrieval techniques and Hands-on experience in Elastic Search/Solr, Q&A systems

- Good knowledge of different NLP/ML Algorithms and its applications

- Strong skills in software prototyping and engineering with expertise in Python is required

- Good in Data-structures/Algorithms

- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Additional Notes :

- Experience with solving problems in fintech domain is a plus

- Knowledge of Deep Learning and Probabilistic Graphical Models is a plus

- Experience with machine learning frameworks e.g., Keras, Tensorflow, sci-kit-learn.
