JOB DESCRIPTION: Data Analytics Consultant / Scientist

Experience: 5 - 10 yrs

Location: Pune

Primary Skills: Analytics: Forecasting/Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Statistics/Optimisation(preferred)

Desired Roles & Responsibilities :

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Data Science/Analyst's role.

- Strong Analytics skills & Business acumen.

- Strong programming skills in SAS/Python/R

- Ability to think analytically and effectively communicate issues and solutions.

- Capable of solving a business problem using forecasting techniques like ARIMA, ESM, UCM, advanced ML algorithms, Deep Learning algorithms, Optimization techniques etc.

- Designs and develops high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to R&D best practices and processes.

- Uses appropriate analytics to solve a business problem. Capable of making a decision on which analytics procs to be considered in a solution.

- Problem-solving aptitude.

- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop).

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred.

Education Preference: MSc/Ph.D. in Statistics/ Mathematics
