As the Data Scientist for the Industrial IoT (IIoT) Business, you will be working with the Data science and analytics team with various products and Projects line in both the product development and Analytics solution delivery to customer.

Working with the IIoT business you will provide domain expertise on the various data science and analytics techniques to enhance the IIoT solutions.

Data Scientist who is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. Must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations which is mainly focused for improvement on industrial asset performance and predicting failures of machines.

This role will also be responsible for helping build the IIoT's Analytics solutions for various industries. You will also work with the Sales Team as Pre sales Technical consultant for Data science and analytics solutions and also work with in house Product development team to handle analytics requirements, development of analytics solutions etc. you will be given responsibility to design, architect, end to end analytics solutions for various Process and Manufacturing industries, etc.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical, or Instrumentation or Communication or related field

- 10+ years related experience Data Science and analytics domain with Industry experience.

- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging manufacturing industry data to drive business solutions and efficiency improvement.

Mandatory Skills

- Good exposure with predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.

- Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.

- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

- Sound Knowledge on machine learning algorithm Linear Regression (Multi-variant), Logistic Regression, K nearest neighbours, Gaussian Na- ve Bayes, Support vector Machine.

- Good knowledge on statistical analysis, R programming, Regression analysis, Hypothesis testing.

- Good knowledge on un-supervised learning like cluster, K-Means, PCA, Hierarchal clustering

- Good knowledge on Deep learning neural networks using tensor flow and keras.

- Experience in querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc

- Good knowledge about Asset performance monitoring solutions. Remote monitoring of assets and analytics

- Hands on experience in Engineering and Commissioning of PLC, SCADA , DCS.

- Working knowledge and experience with electrical codes and safety standards.

- Experience in operation technology within industry domains such as Power Generation & Distribution, Water Filtration Plants, Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical or other Manufacturing Plants, etc.

- Good Exposure Technical Product Management/ System Testing knowledge.

Desired skills:

- Experience in operation technology within industry domains such as Power Generation & Distribution, Water Filtration Plants, Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical or other Manufacturing Plants, etc.

- Experience in various PLC, SCADA, Historian system and interface connectivity

- Good knowledge in APM implementation especially GE Predix platform

- Experience in various cloud platforms, AWS, Azure and Thing Worx analytics

- Strong knowledge various Industry protocols OPC DA, UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, etc

- Fundamental understanding of electrical design practices, machine/motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, robotics, programming, and system integration

- Maintenance knowledge about industrial assets and equipment , like pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, press machines etc.

- Experience in defining product requirements and manage requirements and Manage Releases. Good exposure with SDLC process. Knowledge about SCRUM Methodalogy.

- Support Sales Team for Pre-Sales solutions and support Project execution Team for arriving Complex solutions.

- As and when required travel to customer sites for system study and draft a custom solutions.

- Willingness to travel to customer locations to successfully perform these responsibilities
