Job Description :

Reporting to the Head of Innovation, you shall be responsible for :

- Being the primary focal point of the team for the project and will take in inputs from the stakeholders with all the uncertainties associated with it to build prototypes and deploy solutions to bring value to the organization

- Develop workflows to process data and develop models for a problem, and ensure that such workflows and learnt models are transferable to other problems that are similar in nature

- Design, develop & execute the required analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods to develop analytics solutions to address and then solve business problems

- Structure large quantities of data, doing analysis and extracting meaning from data to help improve decision making

- Design experiments, testing hypotheses and building actionable and scalable models

- Help decision makers and leadership to take data-backed decisions

- Work closely with internal teams and various stakeholders in the deployment of the developed solution to optimize the business operations seamlessly

- Employ statistical techniques in Machine Learning and Big Data Technologies to drive innovation in the system

- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques in data science

- Mentor junior members of the team in data science techniques

The successful Applicant :

- Ph.D. or Master's degree (with demonstrated relevant experience in the industry) Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Applied Mathematics/Statistics or related field

- The candidate must have strong programming experience in Python and in R (preferable but not mandatory) with focus on visualization and deployment

- Prior experience in applying Machine Learning for remote sensing or drone would be a nice to have skill

- Experience working with open source libraries and toolkits such as SciPy, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV

- Practical cloud computing experience with AWS technologies and experience in high performance and data intensive platforms

- Experience with object detection, tracking, classification, recognition, scene understanding, facial expression analysis,

- Sound background in one or more of Computer Vision like Scene Understanding, Recognition (Face, Iris, Finger, Gesture)

- Machine Learning techniques & deep understanding of Visualization, Hidden nature, Optimization, Hyperparameters

- Dual Sensors, depth technologies and stereo vision, Image pipeline and heterogeneous computing

- Deep Learning and analytics for contextual Image processing

- Biometrics, IRIS, Embedded security technologies
