Data Scientist - Financial Services

- This role will be based in Mumbai (hybrid/remote working options may be possible), working closely with global data science lead.

- Right fit would have a strong desire to marry data analyses & insights with business and derive commercial value of insights.

- Focus should be on business impact.

- Communication (verbal/written) must be good.

- We require someone with good background in python programming and app development using python.

- You will be doing lots of exploratory data analysis and using machine learning and deep learning algorithms (as per need), in line with business hypotheses, to solve novel problems in various industry sectors.

Tech skills :

1. Python programming

2. Segmentation (working knowledge of basic algos like k-means, hierarchical clustering)

3. Machine learning (working knowledge of basic algos like linear/logistic regressions, decision trees and random forest)

4. Deep learning (know-how of basic neural network architectures like CNN, RNN)

5. Natural language processing (working knowledge of topic modeling, auto tagging)

6. Tableau/Power BI/any other visualization tool

7. SQL (MySQL, Oracle, Hive or any other db) is a good to have

8. R programming/RShiny is a good to have
