Data Scientist - Financial Services (2-8 yrs)
Our Client is a reputed & a well known Financial Services firm based in Mumbai
Job Title : Data Scientist
Job Location : Mumbai
Job Responsibilities :
- Apply statistics and data modeling to gain actionable business insights, explore and identify use cases for Analytics
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions (both for front-end and back-end)
- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables
- Project manage the entire model development and deployment incl systems integration, ensure benefits are realized, model recalibration as necessary
- Propagate the use of Analytics across the organization for better decision making
Job Requirement :
- Engineer preferably, or a graduate in Analytics / Statistics / Data Sciences
- At least 2 years of experience in data modelling / data engineering (Python, R, AWS Sage maker, any other) and different modelling techniques and approaches incl Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Deep knowledge of Excel
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Handling projects independently
- Good data visualization (incl tools) and story-telling abilities
