Data Scientist - eCommerce

Job Title : Data Scientist

Your responsibilities will focus on improving the end-user experience. You will use data analytics to identify areas of opportunity to improve matchmaking between members, and developing online services, and running tests, capitalize on these opportunities.

Responsibilities :

- Drive exploration and analysis of large complex data sets, representing thousands of member interactions

- Analyze member behavior and patterns to drive improvements for members

- Develop predictive models for matching members with mutual relevance, deploy, and performance tracking and validation

- Working with engineers to assist in testing and deploying matchmaking models

- Providing technical mentorship to other team members through data analytics best practices

Requirements :

- 5+ years of relevant work experience, working on search, matchmaking or recommender systems.

- Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design

- Expertise working in Python or C++, or skills in a similar language

- Experience with SQL databases (ideally MySQL) & at least one NoSQL database

- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent program
