Data Scientist - Business Intelligence & Reporting Solution

Our Client is seeking Data Scientist to provide Business Intelligence & Reporting Solution for their multiple client engagements.

Job Description:

Ideal Candidate Would Have:

- Prior experience in handling team is desirable.

- High energy and self-motivated professional with the ability to make things happen, work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.

- Good understanding of domains like Retail / CPG /Healthcare / Telecom / Hospitality/ Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals / BFSI

- Sound understanding of some of the below statistical techniques like : Time Series Analysis (ARIMA), CHAID, CART, Logistic/Linear/Lasso/Ridge Regressions, Segmentation,Decision trees, Recommendation Engines, Survival Modelling,

- Support Vector Machines, Dimensionality Reduction, Neural Networks, RBM, Deep Learning, Data Visualization, Text Analytics (LSI, LDA), Topic Modelling

- Ability to interpret results of above mentioned Statistical techniques

- Knowledge of some of the analytics tools like SAS, SPSS, R, Python/ C++/Java

- Very good knowledge of Big Data Technologies like MapReduce/Hadoop /SAP HANA/Storm/Kafka / SPARK

- Ability to translate Business Problem to a Statistical Problem and Statistical solutions to a viable Business solution

- Good verbal and written English communication

- Good interpersonal skills

- Exposure to Project Management skills

- Prior experience in Research and Development as well as publishing white papers is an added advantage

Qualification:

- B. Tech/Masters /M.Phil/ PhD from Engineering or Computer Science

- MA / MSc / M.Phil / Ph D in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics (with specialization in Econometrics/ Statistics) disciplines with demonstrated work experience as mentioned above can also be considered.
