Data Scientist - BFSI

We are looking for Data Scientist for Hackathon Process in hyderabad.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify, profile, analyze and present the data discovery output for analytic projects

- Analytical experience and the ability to turn analytical solutions into actionable business propositions

- Work with Data Engineers to define data requirements and review recommended architecture

- Perform data wrangling and feature engineering for machine learning and build ML models

- Create helper functions to automate frequently encountered wrangling and feature engineering tasks

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- At least 3-15 years of experience in advanced analytics / statistical modelling using NLP (Natural Language Processing) and machine-learning

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics

- Highly proficient with data wrangling, analytic, transformation and feature engineering using programming tools such as Spark or Python

- Excellent knowledge of SQL and basic understanding on Deep Learning

- Experience with ML deployment workflows and tools

- Familiarity with distributed storage and big data computing technology (AWS, Hadoop, Spark, etc)

- Excellent visualization and communication skills

- Good to have financial services industry experience

- Active Github profile and Kaggle/AnalyticsVidhya rankings are a plus

SKILLS

- Proficiency in Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, and/or PyTorch is required

- Proficiency in Python (numpy, pandas, scipy, spacy, genism etc) required
