Data Scientist - BFS

Responsibilities :

- Applying and advising on advanced analytic and quantitative tools and modeling techniques in order to derive business insights and solve business problems

- Supporting, reviewing and conducting analytics processes and data integration on clients- internal and external data

- Creating value for clients and client service teams by understanding their needs and translating them into optimal desired analytical services

- Developing and disseminating innovative analytical techniques, processes, tools, etc.

- Problem solving with the client service teams to explore findings and insights from analysis

- Supporting knowledge development for the Firm's analytic group and help developing a roadmap for a greater understanding of analytics and its impact in the consulting population

Background :

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Quantitative social sciences or related field

- 1-3 years of professional work experience with a reputed Analytics firm

- Programming experience with R, Python and Excel/VBA

- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and data mining packages like SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, STATA, etc.

- Apply and advise on state-of-the-art advanced analytic and quantitative tools and modeling techniques in order to derive business insights and solve complex business problems

- Deep technical experience in the key areas of programming

- Machine learning and generic algorithms worked can include Cost Function, Neural Networks, Random Forest, Support Vector machines, Gradient Boosting, Na- ve Bayes etc.
