Role : Applied Data Scientist
Company: Singapore Based B2B Fintech company
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3-6 Yrs
- Only Candidates from T1 Schools are required for this role
- The research team is responsible for solving business problems with real-world data. We understand the data, ask fundamental-first-principle questions, and apply our analytical and machine learning skills to solve the problem in the best possible way. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams across the company, from defining the product roadmap and business problems to delivering the product.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Understand the domain knowledge and business context for our products
- Research work on machine learning algorithms applying to our products
- Build data processing and machine learning pipelines and systematically test the pipeline with proper datasets
- Present the results to shareholders and contribute to knowledge sharing within Tookitaki
- Work with Product team for defining the product requirement document
- Work with the Engineering team for production implementation
- Assist the Client Success team for client engagement
Technical Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Major in Computer Science or a related STEM field
- Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning with a good track record
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, C++, or Scala
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with building machine learning pipelines on large data sets
- Having published papers at conferences (e.g., NIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR, etc.).
