Data Science - BFSI (2-5 yrs)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of hands on experience in machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as ANN, SVM, Random Forest, Na- ve Bayes etc
- Experience with common data science toolkits like Python, R & SAS along with Big Data experience will be strongly preferred.
- Overall 3+ years of experience in advanced analytics / data science
- Prior experience in advanced analytics solutions in the sphere of unstructured data (text, pictures, video etc)
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase etc
- Proficiency in using query languages such as Hive, Pig & SQL
- Prior experience with Bigdata platform (Hadoop)
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regressing etc
- Good scripting and programming skills
