Data Modelling Role - Data Management/Data Governance - Financial Services

Data Modelling(Data Management,Data Governance)

- At least 2 years Logical Data Modelling skills

- Experience of Financial Services and specifically within data domains / functions (e.g. Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Governance)

- Demonstrable knowledge of Data Management tools and techniques

- Good working knowledge of relevant tools e.g. Visual Paradigm, IBM Infosphere Data Architect or CA Erwin Data Modeller (Preferable to be familiar with Collibra or Informatica Data Management Suite).

- Experience of eliciting, documenting and verifying requirements for the use of data across the HSBC organisation (Global Businesses and Global Functions) as appropriate to project scope

- Experience of working within a large, complex and geographically dispersed projects (including across time zones)

- Previous experience as a data analyst, solutions analyst or architect including delivery of data artefacts e.g. data models, data flow diagrams & metadata would be beneficial

- Experience with planning and execution of data controls and system adoption

- Previous experience within the data analytics domain

- Knowledge and experience of Data Management principals and their practical application

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to build a collaborative and constructive partnership with relevant project teams and/or SMEs for content development.

- Wide understanding of products, services, systems and processes, possibly including sales process and the relationship management model
