Data Modeler - Online/eCommerce (3-6 yrs)

What you bring to the team :

Experience :

- University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

- 3+ years of proven experience in the role of Data Modeler in a Data Warehouse or reporting environment.

Knowledge :

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, ETL, database design, business intelligence and their processes

- Proven broad experience with data modelling tools and methods

- Experienced in understanding business terms, understanding of the importance of definitions and meaning of words

- Strong knowledge of SQL

- Excellent communication and didactical skills

- Good level of English.

Considered a Plus :

- Knowledge of banking processes and products

- Experienced in agile way of working

- Knowledge of and experience with IBM's BDW models / another industry model

- Knowledge of and experience acting within the business area of financial institutions and within data management organizations

- Experience as Senior DWH Developer, Solution Designer or Data Architect (architecture, planning & road-map, solution definition, solution follow-up & guidance).

Skills :

- Good in problem analysis and judgment - you evaluate the impact of architectural decisions, actions, choices, risks and updates and their impact on the organization

- Autonomous in executing tasks, preparation of advice, and decision making about the implementation
