Job Description :


- Service Delivery Manager will ensure the smooth operation of solutions in the Data Factory domain, underpinned by cutting-edge technologies such as MS Azure PaaS and Informatica C360. They will also work towards being a single interface for users on the above-mentioned solutions.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead live support operations of the Aurora programme.

- Achieving service KPIs to agreed standards (such as uptime, quality, performance)



- Manage delivery of small enhancements and optimise efficiency of Agile scrums.



- Ensure consistency of processes across support teams.



- Manage partnership with other teams, such as Data Factory, Aurora Programme, functional SMEs, Information security, Cloud platform.



- Review and manage vendor partner service performance and lead supplier team for better performance and effective ways of working.



- Work with Lead DevOps Manager and escalate issues to when appropriate.



- Monitor third-party delivery quality to ensure it meets with Unilever standards.



- Assist Lead DevOps manager in strategic areas such as new capability development, forecasting, future operating model.


Profile

Experience and qualifications required:

- Essential:

- Experience in managing delivery of live service/operations, at medium to large scale.

- Experience of delivering build or live support of MS Azure data lake cloud platforms.



- Experience working with Informatica C360 (MDM and IDQ modules).



- Hands on Service Operations and management of 24/7 support teams and high priority P1, P2 scenarios for incident and problem management processes.



- Experience of delivering service KPIs and resolution of live issues to ensure service uptime.



- Experience and good understanding of processes and tools required to delivery a large- scale DevOps operations, from transition into Live to running of efficient BAU service.



- Experience of Agile/DevOps development lifecycle from conception to delivery.



- Technical knowledge on Cloud based data and analytics tools and technologies, specifically Azure, Data Lake Store, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.



- Experience of working with and managing supplier teams/resources.



- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.



- Possesses good analytical thinking to develop solutions and propose action plans.



- Ability to learn new tools, technologies and process quickly



- Self-motivated problem solver; able to thrive in a dynamic and result-driven environment



- Thorough understanding of applicable standards and procedures including technical, quality, safety, and financial matters across all areas of service delivery


- Desirable:

- Professional certification (Agile methodologies, PMI, ITIL, etc.)

- Domain expertise in Analytics and Data Lake Platform & Technologies



- Experience of working within consumer goods or retail industry.
