Data Governance Lead - AWS/Python/SQL (15-25 yrs)
- Managing large scale (50+ headcount) teams in data engineering, governance and visualization
- Working directly with the client and local market teams to understand the data and reporting requirements to create a reverse scope/brief
- Deep understanding of the data in the marketing, advertising and specifically digital ad-tech ecosystem
- Understanding business requirements to create the blueprint for data and reporting automation
- Supporting the engineering team and problem solving them during the build process
- Ability to work with local teams around the world to ensure high service and quality levels
- Develop operational processes to ensure quality of output and timelines
- Strong communication and relationship building
- Escalation point for all relationship, personal and delivery issues
- Demonstrated ability to attract, inspire and grow world-class data reporting talent
- Strong data science, platform and technology knowledge
- Significant hands-on experience in data related activities such as data governance, metadata, data management, data standards, data structures, data aggregation and business requirement (keep)
- Demonstrated business acumen, project management, analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Proven decision-making skills under stress
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree plus 15+ years industry experience, including 9 plus years of management experience
2. Experience working in AWS, Python, SQL and API development and management
3. Experience with product development process, financial management tools, reporting visualization, project scheduling and resource management, coordinating team activities
4. Experience in creating a centralized reporting solution that has multiple data inputs
5. Experiences with multiple business intelligence platforms
6. Experience with media metric, preferably with digital data
7. Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English
9. Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
10. Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
12. Occasional travel
13. Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision
